NaKniSweMo begins tomorrow!
As you all know, NaKniSweMo 2 starts tomorrow! Are you ready? Is it time for a last-minute LYS run? We will ship my hand-dyed yarn overnight if you’re really desperate! I’m also planning a NaKniSweMo commemorative colorway you’ll be able to buy after you finish this sweater. Don’t worry: small skeins = smaller project for your cool-off recovery period.
Not sure what I’m talking about? Read this post for more info on NaKniSweMo, but the basics? Knit a 50,000-stitch sweater in a month. Cecilia reports that all of the patterns in Knitting with a Smile by Inger Fredholm state how many stitches they include, although I can’t think of too many non-superchunky sweaters that fall under 50,000 stitches.
Are you on Ravelry? Join the NaKniSweMo group!
If you’re especially proud of your progress or just like showing the rest of us up, send in a photo of your work in progress and I’ll post it here, too. Warm up those needles, knitters — it’s going to be an exciting month!
The last minute LYS run was at 0830 this morning. 🙂
Count me in! Off to join the ravelry group.

I’m already half way finished! Hurrah! It’s one of those very fashionable big button, 3/4 sleeved knit jackets and I am lovin’ it!
