Many, many sheep (and magazines)
On this website, for example. And this past weekend, at the Great Lakes Fiber Festival. I bought a beautiful grey fleece from a sheep named Gretchen. (What a great sheep name, by the way). Gretchen’s fleece won first prize in its division, something I didn’t know until after I’d picked it out — you could pay for your fleece upfront, but couldn’t pick it up until after the judging.
I also scored 60+ back issues of Fiber Arts magazine, as well as a handful of Belle Armoires and Interweave Knits…for a mere $5!
Linda from Grafton Fibers contributed some beautiful fiber for my upcoming felting book, and we got to meet her in person, which is always lovely. Fiber fairs are the best!
