I couldn’t resist.

My fairy knitmother Jillian and Amy tried to get me to buy these shoes 2 years ago. Now they’re on clearance and, well…I couldn’t resist.

This gorgeous Lexie Barnes knitting bag, ordered from kpixie? What can I say? I couldn’t resist.

When I saw this shirt at the Renegade Craft Fair last year? Again, couldn’t resist.

Having all three together? I’m one black skirt away from the best outfit ever! Perhaps I’ll debut it at the Maker Faire next month! Speaking of… the Unofficial Apple Weblog picked up on the Knitgrrl Boombox Bag seen most recently on the Make blog. I’m planning to revise the pattern with some more advanced shaping and also felting instructions, if you’re so inclined.

While we’re on this black/white/Mac theme: here’s the Flickr yarn-related photo of the day for 16 March 2006: a Sad Mac sweater by Armchair Messiah

Oh me oh my those shoe are fly. And the purse.

I don’t know your schedule, but the Mexican Fine Arts Museum is a short walk from my apartment (a smidge over a mile) — if you want, we could head over there when you are in Chicago. I think it’d make you all happy on the inside. (And their gift shop is supa-dupa.)
