Can’t…type…knitting…hats…
Have you ever gotten on a design or knitting kick where all you want to do is work on this one thing, obsessively, over and over? Umm. Then you know what I’ve been up to for the past few days. I’m three hats in on this design now and will probably knit a few more before I release the pattern. It’s a 1940s-inspired felted hat and I have to admit, I’m kind of in love with it right now.
(I say “kind of” to mitigate the truth, which is “I’ve been sleeping with my Go Knit pouch and can’t put it down and have styrofoam heads covered in hats all over the dining room.” Ahem).
It’s been that kind of week. FYI for the northeast Ohioans, I’m teaching a dye class and a sweater design class in September at Stitch Cleveland. If you do one and then the other, you can have a hand-dyed sweater in hand by the end of the month!
