Cable envy
Theresa’s at it again, knitting things I want…
I have cable envy. That’s the problem. I’ve been reassessing my knitting desires lately, and although I may feel better about them someday, I just cannot do socks right now. Scarves, maybe… though they’re a bit dull. Hats I like, and sweaters I love. But really, Theresa’s Frode sweater is so exquisite it’s made me realize that the next challenge to take up is cables. Check out the little knots in the middle! They look like a Tibetan interlocking knot, one of the 8 auspicious symbols in Buddhism… a design I’ve wanted as a tattoo since I was 17 or so.
Sigh. I guess now I need to find Viking Patterns for Knitting…
